Detailed Job Descriptions & Requirements
1. Mechanical & Piping Roles
The Mechanical team is the backbone of the refinery and pipeline infrastructure. We require individuals who can read complex isometric drawings and maintain high-pressure welding standards.
* Site Supervisors (Piping): Must possess a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience. Responsible for progress monitoring, site safety, and coordinating with the client’s engineers.
* Welding Foremen/Chargehands: Experts in TIG, ARC, and MIG welding processes. Must ensure all joints meet X-ray quality standards and manage a team of 10-15 welders.
* Pipe Fabricators: Expert at marking, cutting, and fit-up of pipes based on blueprints.
2. E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Roles
Precision is key in E&I. You will be responsible for the "nervous system" of the plant—from power distribution to sensitive control sensors.
* Instrument Technicians: Calibration, installation, and loop testing of pressure transmitters, flow meters, and control valves.
* Electrical Foremen: Oversight of cable laying, termination, and panel installations. Deep knowledge of ATEX (hazardous area) regulations is preferred.
* Cable Tray Fabricators: Skilled in the layout and installation of heavy-duty support systems for industrial cabling.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Experience: A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in Onshore Oil & Gas, Refineries, or Petrochemical projects.
* Gulf Experience: Previous experience working in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE is highly preferred.
* Certifications: Valid trade certificates (e.g., AWS for welders, ITI for technicians) are mandatory.
* Language: Functional English (speaking and reading) is required for safety and reporting purposes.
* Health: Candidates must be medically fit to work in high-temperature outdoor environments.
