Main Responsibilities
· Prepare BOQ, specifications, drawings and RFQ.
· Send enquiries to subcontractors and obtain quotes and proposals. Analyze quotes to verify scope and prepare comparative statements.
· Must be able to liaise with external Civil and MEP contractors (AC, Fire Fighting, Building Management System, CCTV, Electrical, Access Control etc) and work with the Project Manager to obtain quotes for the various contract and subcontract works.
· Responsible for filing soft copies of orders and contracts and important communication on Share Point folders.
· Should be able to prepare Tender and Contract Documents including detailed Bill of Quantities and terms for Main Contract and technical Subcontracts Agreements for specialized works.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
· Minimum 2 years of procurement experience of Civil and MEP materials
· Strong MS Office skills and English communication skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment
· Valid UAE driving license would be a plus.
· Must have good AutoCAD skills.
· Able to read engineering drawings to figure out quantities and specifications.
